Technology is trending mobile. And that means that nonprofit technology is trending mobile as well. From text-to-give to donation pages optimized for smartphones, there’s no shortage of mobile fundraising opportunities.
We’ve written a lot about the topic. So, when we decided to host this month’s Fundraising Strategies & Nonprofit Tech Carnival, the choice for what our focus should be was an easy one.
This month, the theme will be mobile giving strategies.
What is the Fundraising Strategies & Nonprofit Tech Carnival?
The Nonprofit Tech Carnival is a roundup of resources all about a set theme, and its host rotates with each new theme.
The goal of each carnival is simple; curating informative and actionable advice for fundraisers and nonprofit professionals looking to hone their standard practices and learn more about the ever-growing world of nonprofit technology.
You can learn more about the carnival and how to get involved by visiting the main page.
The Theme for This Month – Mobile Giving Strategies
When we say mobile giving, we’re talking about everything from text-to-give to mobile-optimized donation pages to QR codes and so much more.
And for this upcoming carnival, we want to hear from you! What are your best strategies to maximize mobile giving? How do you advise that a nonprofit not only stays with the times but actually gets ahead of them?
Maybe you have an awesome technique for stewarding mobile donors. Maybe you know exactly what to do to encourage mobile giving at events. Maybe you have some advice about the best mobile metrics to track.
The bottom line is, if you have actionable advice that could help a nonprofit raise more from their mobile efforts, we’d love to feature that advice in the carnival.
We’re looking for high-quality submissions that run the gamut, from case studies to technical articles to info-graphics. If you have something that we can learn from and fits within the topic, send it in.
To send in your resource, simply fill out this form. And submit your resource by May 26, 2017.
Guidelines for Submissions
We like to keep resource submissions short and sweet. Here’s what you’ll be sharing:
- The author’s/publishing blog’s name
- The post’s title
- The post’s permalink
- A short description of the resource and how it fits the theme
That’s all you’ll be sending. Questions about if your resource is the right fit should be directed to Taylor Gibbs.
Be sure to send in your submissions by May 26, 2017.
